What to do when you are trying to build in a place littered with ruins? In the case of a new McDonald´s south of Rome, the answer was to incorporate the ruins in the restaurant.  A 45-meter road that leads to the famous Via Appia, complete with three skeletons, have been excavated, preserved and can now be viewed through the glass floor of the fast food restaurant. World´s first “restaurant-museum”?
